Steall Falls is the second highest waterfall in Scotland with a huge single drop of 120 meters. The waterfall is accessed via a recently renovated path around the Glen Nevis valley through a gorge which is maintained by the John Muir Trust, there have been recent works to improve the access due to its high number of annual visitors. Steall Waterfall formed the backdrop to some of the scenes as a filming location for the Harry Potter movies, it can clearly be seen behind the Quidditch pitch in the second and third Harry Potter Movies.
