Logan Rock and Pednvounder Beach - Porthcurno - Cornwall30

from £45.00

The view from Treen Cliff looking down over the beautiful and secluded Pednvounder Beach in Cornwall was one of my highlights from my trip to lands end, this view is accessible by a walk along the South West Coastal Path from Porthcurno.

In the distance is the headland which forms the iron age fort of Treryn Dinas which is most famous for the Logan Rock which is an 80 ton granite rock which can be rocked by one person. The rock was famously dislodged in 1824 by a group of British seamen but later put back at the request of the locals.
