Lamorna Cove Fisherman - Cornwall, UK

Lamorna Cove is a popular spot for tourists and is accessible down a narrow single track lane. Originally Lamorna was a small fishing village and cove but now features mainly small B&B's & hotels. In the summer the car park (be careful of the parking enforcement & high parking charges at Lamorna) gets very busy but a visit later in the day is well worth the trip to experience the quietness. This view was taken with the water near to high tide filling the small cove and surrounding the sea defences, the figure on the pier is a fisherman. The geology in the area is similar to nearby Porthcurno but on a much smaller scale.
