July Overview - Nickscape 365 Project

We're now past the halfway stage of my year long 365 project. The images for July show a real shift in feeling moving from the bright spring growing season where the vegetation is fresh to the more established lush appearance of the middle of summer.

The weather in July also tends to be more mixed with bright sunny days merged in with wet cloudy days. I always try to capture the landscape in all weather conditions and whilst bright sunsets are preferable, sometimes rain, cloud and storms provide spectacular lighting and conditions to really alter the mood of the photograph.

Lakes and beaches again feature heavily in my July uploads. The images bring back great memories of holidays and trips to the amazing scenery found around the British Isles and beyond. I tend to visit Cornwall every year in July which shows in the uploads with images from Holywell Bay which features heavily in the BBC series Poldark, Nanjizal Beach, Porth Nanven, Crantock Beach, St Michael's Mount, Porthcurno and St Ives all making an appearance.
