Eilean Donan Castle - Highlander - Scotland
Eilean Donan Castle on the shores of Loch Duich near to the village of Dornie is possibly the most featured castle in the Scottish Highlands and is quite a Scottish icon. Featured in many photographs and films (most famously the cult film Highlander). The castle is lit up at dusk, this view is looking looking down the loch towards the Isle of Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh. The current castle was rebuilt after the year 1918 when the bridge was added to the island.
