Wentworth Woodhouse Country House - South Yorkshire

Wentworth Woodhouse Country House Facade | Yorkshire Architecture Gallery
The impressive country house Wentworth Woodhouse is a remarkable place to visit. When visiting the village of Wentworth, unless you know the house existed you would never know it is there thanks to the clever positioning the house backs onto the village and enjoys impressive views across the South Yorkshire countryside. When visiting the stately home you approach down the side of the house past the former stables before turning a corner to be greeted with the sight of the longest facade of any county house in Europe. Wentworth Woodhouse is currently undergoing a fundraising campaign to secure the future of the house and to help pay for the extensive renovations that are needed in the many rooms and corridors.
