Loch nan Eilean and Cuillin Mountains - Isle of Skye - Scotland

Loch nan Eilean is a small loch near to Sligachan on the Isle of Skye, this shot is looking towards the mountains of Marsco on the left and the Cuillin range on the right featuring Sgurr nan Gillean, Am Basteir and Sgurr a Bhasteir. A brief break in the clouds over to the right allowed the sun to break through and really bring the loch to life, lighting up the reeds and banks with golden sunlight. The light lasted only a few minutes before disappearing once again behind the clouds not to be seen again for the rest of the evening.
