Mam Tor towards Lose Hill and the Great Ridge Edale

This image was taken shortly after sunrise from the path of the great ridge below Mam Tor, the ridge walk path takes you from Mam Tor down towards Back Tor and Loose Hill. The path down from Mam Tor has numerous photographic opportunities, on a clear morning you can take photographs in all directions with my favourite angle heading straight down the great ridge towards Back Tor and Loose Hill in the far distance. The steep valley of Edale sits to the left of the ridge which is a great starting point for a trip up Kinder Scout, to the right of the ridge is the fabulous Hope Valley.
