Salt Cellar Derwent Edge - Derbyshire142

Salt Cellar on Derwent Edge | Peak District Photography

The Salt Cellar on Derwent Edge is one of the most well know rock formations in the Peak District, this shot was taken in March on a very cold morning shortly after sunrise looking towards Derwent Edge in the distance. The walk from Whinstone Lee Tor along the top of Derwent Edge gives great views over Ladybower Reservoir and takes you past the impressive gritstone rocks that form the Wheel Stones.
