Photos of Sheffield City Centre - Winter Garden and Tudor Square

Now becoming one of the most visited locations in Sheffield, the Sheffield Winter Garden is a city centre is a large temperate greenhouse which was opened by the Queen in 2003. The Sheffield Winter Garden was built as part of the Sheffield City Centre Heart of the City regeneration project which included the nearby Peace Gardens and development of the Sheffield Millennium Galleries. The whole Larch based structure measures 70 metres long by 21 metres wide making it the largest urban glasshouse in Europe. Photographically the Winter Garden adds a strikingly different type of architecture nestled within the redeveloped Heart of the City area.
