Lake District Summer Photography - Photography trip to Langdale

I always aim to enjoy a long weekend in the UK Lake District national park each June. I find June to be the perfect time of year to capture the Lake District in the summer season as the scenery has had time to develop to a beautiful green without becoming overgrown. The weather also tends to be kind in June with long warm days and the Lake District roads are much quieter as it falls before the school holidays. We were lucky with the weather on this trip with clear blue skies and warm temperatures for much of the trip. This allowed to capture images with a very warm feeling in a completely different style to my usual moody autumn/winter photographs. I concentrated more on the details of the locations rather than the wider views.
