365 Project - 13 Years of Landscape Photography

I've spent a fair amount of time over the Christmas break working through my images making sure they are organised and removing those no longer needed. I've also improved my backup methods to make sure everything is protected should anything happen to my Windows PC. My Adobe Lightroom Landscapes catalogue now consists of 25,000 finished images taken over the past 13 years of my photography journey. I purchased my first proper camera at Christmas back in 2005 and have taken thousands of photographs since.

For each day of 2019 I've decided to post an image at random to match the season from my extensive back catalogue of photographs.

The project isn't necessarily intended to showcase images that I would consider my best work but rather a random selection of images from over the years giving an insight into the way I work and the locations I've visited. The photographs will mainly be from the UK but will include some from further afield. Lovers of the British countryside should really enjoy this series as I've visited some spectacular places over the years and hope to show off some of the best scenery and weather conditions that I have experienced in that time.

The images will appear daily on my Facebook and Twitter accounts around 7pm and will include location and camera details for each image. At the end of each month I'll also post a monthly update to this blog showing the previous months images as a group.
