Architecture Photography

Aside from landscape and seascape photography I have a real passion for architecure photography.

When I lived in Newcastle upon Tyne I made a frequent trips to the quayside to capture the Tyne bridges all lit up at dusk, the mix of a sunset and the artificial lighting down on the quayside is something to behold and makes a visit to Newcastle Gateshead a must for everyone.

More recently I have made numerous trips the short distance into the city of Sheffield to capture some of the buildings and architecture which make up the extremely diverse Sheffield city centre. Sheffield on the move is a slogan often displayed by the redevelopment agencies working on the development of the city centre, the mix of old and new buildings in Sheffield is quite amazing, once you look closely the details in the historic buildings are fascinating.
